Welcome to this website is a one of a kind interactive take along guide to scenic Blue Ridge Parkway overlook views designed for smartphone, tablet, and notepads via wireless or a download to your device for unlimited access.  

The Blue Ridge Parkway meanders 469 miles through the mountains of Virginia and North Carolina. This app allows you to find each overlook you visit, as well as, the names of mountains and valleys you are viewing from each overlook. We have indexed six regions of the Blue Ridge Parkway by landmark towns, north to south these are: Waynesboro, Roanoke, Boone, Asheville, Waynesville, and Cherokee.  Click a town to find the index of overlooks in that area.

To enhance your visit we have also listed the location of information centers and ranger stations along with seasonal restaurants, lodging, camping, museums/exhibits, crafts, and gift shops along the Blue Ridge Parkway. Just click on the Parkway Info button. If you are looking for other adventures, such as waterfalls or favorite mountain peaks. Additionally, to find flower bloom seasons along the Blue Ridge Parkway click the Parkway Highlites button. Just a side note the fall colors begin around mid-September with October being the best time to view dazzling array!

Please note: The Blue Ridge Parkway has limited wireless access. Black and white photographs help to provide the best clarity for identifying the mountains, ridges, and valleys.

Thank you for visiting This website features Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks with labels of mountains, valleys, ridges, and other features seen from these overlooks along the 469 miles of scenic splendor that is the Blue Ridge. This site is designed as a take along guide accessed by your Smartphone, Notepad, or laptop via wireless cellphone service, Wi-Fi, or by PURCHASING A MEMBERSHIP of overlooks for each of the six regions of the Blue Ridge Parkway. We now offer this download service because of limited wireless cellphone service not available in many rural areas along the parkway.

On each overlook page you will see

a South or North Button 

at the sides of each image click either direction to view one overlook at a time


To quickly find the overlook you want to view, just click the green region button of the town nearest that area. An index of overlooks will provide a list of the overlook views in that area. Simply select the overlook you want to see.
